Project Background
In July 2023, the Department of Justice gave approval in principle to proceed with the Dublin Family Courts project as a PPP. The new facility will centralise a number of central Dublin family court venues in a single location at Hammond Lane, close to the Four Courts in Dublin 7.
The design of the new Dublin Family Courts was developed by the Office of Public Works in collaboration with the Courts Service. Court facilities will be provided within an integrated purpose built complex alongside mediation, family support and related services.
